I perform this monologue for the first time in my acting 2 class and I really enjoyed it since I identify with Lisa's character. Lisa is an eighteen-year-old woman: intelligent, articulate, ambitious, and emotionally strong. She's in a Mexican restaurant telling her boyfriend why she is so determined to go to college. She wants to achieved her dreams at any cost, no matter how many people opposed.
